Since 1952, UH Optometry has prepared generations of eye care leaders, advanced groundbreaking discoveries, and expanded access to high-quality vision care for communities across Texas.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME
As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the people and defining moments that have shaped our history while looking ahead to new possibilities in optometric education, scientific discovery, and patient care.
On September 10, 2027 and with events through the weekend, we invite our alumni and friends to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the people, experiences and shared legacy that have made the UH College of Optometry what it is today.
